Catalino Y. Dumlao III, earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles in 1988 and a Juris Doctor degree from Whittier School of Law in 1999.

Prior to earning his law degree, Catalino worked for more than ten years with major insurance carriers as a litigation claims specialist. He investigated and managed property and casualty litigation for large commercial accounts involving bodily injury, property damage and construction defect.

After obtaining his law degree, Catalino and his wife moved to Indianapolis, Indiana where he practiced criminal defense with the Marion County Public Defender Agency. Catalino represented indigent clients charged with misdemeanor and felony manners. In this capacity, Catalino made daily court appearances for pretrial hearings and trials (bench and jury).

Catalino and his wife later moved back to Los Angeles, California, in 2002 after accepting a position with a major immigration law firm in Irvine, California. In this capacity, he successfully handled all immigration matters to include family and employment based immigration as well as deportation. He also handled immigration cases on behalf of corporate clients and investors visa for new businesses.

With a desire to provide a more personal immigration legal services to clients, Catalino opened the Law Office of Catalino Y. Dumlao III in mid 2003. Catalino has since gained a reputation as a competent and personable immigration attorney accessible to all. The Law Office of Catalino Y. Dumlao III currently handles cases throughout all 50 states both for individuals and businesses.

Catalino was born in the Philippines and immigrated to United States at the age of nine. He was raised and educated in Southern California. After graduating from high school, Catalino joined the United States Marine Corps and served as a Platoon Sergeant in an infantry reserve unit. Catalino and his wife currently reside in Torrance, California, with their two daughters.
